About Carol Wintle

Carol Wintle has 39 years of professional experience. In the past 28 years she has worked as a Child and Family Psychotherapist and Consultant.  She has been a Bullying Prevention Specialist for seventeen of those years. Her prior ten years experience was in the field of education. Another specialty of Carol’s is early childhood psychotherapy.

She has extensive experience counseling children who are bullied as well as those who silently watch bullying and those who bully.

Carol has conducted over a hundred conflict resolution workshops and graduate courses. She has researched, developed materials, and conducted bullying prevention workshops, presentations, and consulted with school staff, parents and community members.

She is the author of Empowering Children to Help Stop Bullying at School. Her previous publications include Stop Bullying at School: A curriculum for grades 5-8, “Preventing Bullying and Name-calling,” & “Storytelling in the Peaceable Classroom,” in Adventures in Peacemaking: A Conflict Resolution Activity Guide for Early Childhood Educators, and Food For The Health Of It: A high school curriculum.

Carol is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and has a MA in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University. Her undergraduate degree is in Education from Indiana University of PA.
